Internationale projekter - Erasmus+

KA2 - Strategiske partnerskaber

Cooperative Partnership for Capacity Building in VET (2022 - 2024)

Period: 2022 - 2024

Project description: The overall agenda of the project Cooperative Partnerships for Capacity Building in VET’ is to improve the quality of VET by supporting the professional development and empowerment of teachers and school leaders. Following a review of the European Reference Framework of Key Competences, the European Council state that in a rapidly changing and highly interconnected world we need a wide range of skills and competences and the capacity to evaluate and develop our skills continually. We argue that these key competences are best developed in educational settings, which promote professional learning environments for the professional development of both teachers as well as leaders. The overall aim of the project is to build capacity in VET. Empowering teachers.

RoboCup – Developing skills in safe robotics (2022 - 2023)

Period: January 2022 - December 2023

Project description: The objective is to increase the knowledge and skills of VET students enrolled in robotics -related VET-programs: - Being aware of robot related hazards and being able to identify and mitigate them - Understanding basic safety guidelines for robotic applications - Identifying key elements related to robot safety - Applying provisions of safety standards in different operations with robots (design and manufacturing, programming, maintenance, and machine communication) - Enhancing soft skills relevant to working life (e.g. problem solving, teamwork, presentation skills, English communication, time management) The adaption of VET education for the labour market needs is our driver. 10 VET -teachers from 4 European countries will work together in developing of four MicroChallenges related to safety in robotics: Get a grip! Test for succes! Play safe! and Better together! The MicroChallenges will be tested in collaborative challenges in transnational groups of students. In doing so, the involved teachers and students network and share their expertise and learn from each other. Companies are involved in the content design and in giving feedback. A Manual on how to run the MicroChallenges in safety in robotics is produced, making it possible for institutions and organisations outside the partnership to run these or similar MicroChallenges. Video tutorials and testimonials will help to grasp the content and the method. The adaption of VET education for the labourmarket and at the same time make VET an attractive choice to the young will be our aim in this project.

BUILD@HOME (2020 - 2023)

Period: 2020 - 2023

Project description:

We expect our teachers to train their VET students to become resilient global citizens who can manifest themselves in an increasingly international working environment. The reality is that less than 10% of the students attend education regarding internationalization. The main reasons are limited financial resources (Erasmus+) and reluctance of many students to go abroad for longer periods of time. The vast majority of our students are therefore not - or hardly - immersed in the internationalization relevant to their work context. It is therefore necessary to link education to Agenda 2030 for sustainable development and specific 21st Century Skills. Up until now, internationalization education has often had an ad hoc character. An important reason for this is the lack of an accessible toolbox for structuring internationalization education in the curriculum.

Due to COVID-19 or similar future crises, we expect the group of students who will exchange with another country to become smaller. The importance of internationalization @home education will increase in order to acquire international competences. The toolbox BUILD@HOME can meet this need.

Objectives:

The main objective is to develop an easy to use toolbox BUILD@HOME that enables teachers and students to create or follow education that closely matches the curriculum/learning objectives, learning needs, talents and core qualities of the student. All this in the context of the required international competences and Agenda 2030. The toolbox is designed for every type of education and for every type of student. We want to offer extra handles for new applications in Technical courses and Students with fewer opportunities in the broadest sense of the word.

Easy ECVET (2020 - 2023)

Period: 2020 - 2023

Project description: The ECVET technical framework allows the recognition of learning outcomes in many and varied cases, particularly in the case of the European mobility of apprentices or dual system’s trainees.

The state of mind of the project is summarized as: "confront in order to understand, compare in order to question, collaborate in order to co-construct, cooperate in order to implement".

The production of appropriate guides, materials and recommendations, as well as their implementation in the field, should enhance the skills of the teaching teams in transnational evaluation issues and disinhibit the use of the ECVET framework in the context of apprentice mobility.

Beyond the project, we aim to develop our partnership and our bilateral links with all our European partners, to contribute to the dissemination of the ECVET system and to set up or strengthen internationalisation strategies within our organisations.

Five vocational and educational training organisations or centers from five different countries (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France and Spain) will be involved in this project. They have been chosen on the basis of their reliability, seriousness and motivation. Each of them has a particular interest in ECVET either because they have already implemented it and wish to go further, or because they wish to implement it and need the help from more experienced organisations.

"The project "Easy ECVET - exchange of good practices", is carried out by 5 partners (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France and Spain).

The project aims to "make the implementation of the ECVET technical framework simpler and to extend its use, particularly in European mobility actions for apprentices". The objectives are to facilitate access to the ECVET technical framework in a variety of contexts, to bring about a change in participants' attitudes and practices; to remove obstacles to the use of ECVET through the exchange, pooling and dissemination of practices and the development of concrete tools and protocols; to enable better recognition of learning outcomes acquired in the field; and, lastly, to integrate the results into future mobility projects. Overall, the objectives and results of the project are coherent and based on a needs analysis. The proposal is innovative and brings an added Value” at EU level. The monitoring-evaluation of the project, the quality of the implementation, the impacts and the dissemination plan are well defined."

European Partnership in Hydroponics (2022)

Period: 2022

Project description: Our society faces one of the biggest challenges in history. We are currently being affected by climate changes that greatly impact our lives. Pollution, temperature increase, melting ices in the Arctics & deforestation are just some of the inflictions. We aim to address some of these challenges in our project, namely the United nation’s Global goals of starvation & the creation of sustainable cities. Climate change has had & will have great impact on food production around the world. Growing crops the traditional way in the same geographical locations won’t be possible. We need to rethink the idea about gardening & farming. To teach young people about hydroponics will therefore be crucial to safeguard the production of food of tomorrow. Climate change knows no borders & affects all. Therefore, it’s not a problem for someone else to solve. To be able to collaborate & solve problems together will be vital competences for the global workforce of the future. As a consequence, we need to teach our students about sustainability & ways to communicate, cooperate & solve complex problems using digital tools & working remotely. From a civic engagement point of view, we also need to teach our students the importance of urban farming & the circular economy & how it for example can help to feed our homeless, tackle future unemployment & contribute in the creation of more sustainable cities with better quality of air. To see a seed grow & to be surrounded by lush greenery have positive impact on our physical & mental well-being. Besides its potential to improve the environment at school, hydroponics is also inclusive & democratic in providing an excellent way to introduce science, technology & digitalisation to beginners. No previous or special skills are required to get going. Therefore, hydroponics will be a good way to attract students of any background, interest & gender. Working together across European borders offers us unique opportunities to become wiser, smarter & stronger together – to share & handle challenges together. Instead of inventing small wheels at local level, we join forces to invent one together that may fit not just us, but will be better equipped to fit others interested in teaching hydroponics & using digital tools for cultivation. Most of the partners in our partnership are new to hydroponics & beginners regarding using digital tools for teaching, collaboration & hightech cultivation. Moreover, some partners are also new to international cooperation & Erasmus partnerships. Our membership in the EU not only brings great opportunities for us to develop our local educational pathways & become wiser in hydroponics & digitalisation together. It also supports us to contribute to the achievement of the European objectives on green & digital transition, inclusion & gender equality as well as the European cohesion policy & the vision for a European Education Area.

Warming up to robots (2019 - 2022)

Period: 2019 - 2022
